Cambridge Folk Festival???

Not sure if any of you caught my short set in the Club Tent at Cambridge Folk Festival in early August? If you did see me, please drop me an email to yula@yula.co.uk to tell me what you thought. Also, if you have any photos or video footage that you wouldn't mind sharing - I'd love to put some pictures on the website! Cambridge was great fun and full of the loveliest people, I'm hoping to sing again next year!
Who is this Yula person anyway?

My passion is live performance. Whether it's a pub or live music venue, jazz club or a wedding, I can bring the passion and excitement of live music to your event.

I am a classically trained singer with a wealth of performance experience in a diverse range of genres. I've recorded pieces for radio, premiered new works written for me by contemporary composers, sung on soundtracks for short films and dance tours and can be heard on a new CD by Frank Denyer recently released by Mode records of New York.

I hope you enjoy exploring my site, please feel free to contact me if you'd like me to sing for you. I'm located within easy access of the M4 and M5 making London, the Midlands and the South West all within comfortable striking distance.

If you'd like to book me for an event please use the details on the Booking page. Not all dates are shown on the Concerts page, as some private bookings never make it on to the website. I am also sometimes available at short notice so please give me a call or send an email to check availability.
